Addressing Social Mobility is only one aspect of improving diversity and inclusion within an organisation. Age, Disability and Neurodiversity, Ethnicity, Mental Health and Hardship, Sex, Gender and Gender Identity are other D&I areas where improvements need to be made within recruitment, progression and culture, in order to build a truly diverse workforce.
Access Accountancy may only be focusing on improving access to, and progression within, the accountancy industry for young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. However, many of the signatory organisations are also involved with other early career D&I initiatives and events in order to repond to further diversity challenges that are present within the industry.
